Oxheart tomatoes are best known for their meatiness (very few seeds).  The tomatoes are an heirloom variety that was introduced by the Livingston Seed Company in 1926.  The oxheart tomato is said to have “excellent table qualities”.  Oxheart tomatoes have been known to weight over a pound each and are described as having a delicious mild flavor.
